Objectives
This course is an introduction to the tools used in signal processing to analyse the signal in time/frequency.

Syllabus

Discrete and continuous time systems.
Impulse response of systems. 
The convolution sum and the convolution integral.

Trigonometric and exponential forms of the fourier series for periodic signals.
Properties of the Fourier series.
The RMS of a complex waveform.

Continuous time Fourier transform for non-periodic signals.
Properties of the fourier transform.
Analysis of linear circuits using the Fourier transform.

Correlation.
Discrete-time Fourier Transform and the Discrete Fourier Transform Sampling.
The Sampling theorem.
Aliasing.
Reconstruction
