An introduction
to Engineering Graphics and Drawing.
- This unit covers the principles and
practice of orthographic Engineering Drawings. It aims at understanding
and reading of Engineering Drawings in the fields of Electrical and
Mechanical Engineering in 1st and 3rd angle projections.
- Determination of loci and performance
curves of points in mechanisms. Basic loci of conic sections, cycloid,
epi-cycloids and their trochoids.
- Sectioning, oblique and isometric
projections Curves of interpenetration and developments for sheet metal
work.
- The use of BSS308
- Assembly and Working Drawings.
- Further concepts of Machine drawings
orthographic projections.
